I have thick curly hair which I flat iron and I found the best products on the above website. Hai is great.

If you have natural straight hair try using a little product before/after the curling iron so it holds longer.

A perm will damage your hair....DONT

thick and poofy...then you need a anti frizz or silk serum. product that will help your curls. You need a curling iron the a temp gage that you can turn up. They do have those at walmart i think conair makes it. Make sure you section off you hair as your styling. start from the bottom and go up ofcourse. And hair spray if you want it to last. They make a natural spray that wont make your hair hard. also try bed head products.

really cheap ones work the best, i know that sounds weird, but i have bought though ceramic kinds and stuff thinking it was better and it still did the same stuff. so one day in a rush i tryed my friends curling iron and it was a cheap 7dollar one from wal mart and it worked and stayed in. they get super hot and you have to not leave it in too long. but i have long thick hair and it worked for me:)
