Im a guy and i have EXTREMELY thick hair that is also coarse. my hair has always been a problem. its kind of long(almost to the bottom of my neck). My hair is usually way to poofy and it gets really annoying. My hair is also usually dry. ive tried lots of moisturizing shampoos and they work ok but my hair is still dry. I dont mind the thickness but i wish it was more fine. so basically i wish i had fine, thick hair. any advice on how i could give it a more "fine" look to it?

I know you said that you want your hair to still be thick but i think the best thing would be to as the person who cuts your hair to thin it so it is not so thick. I think it will help out a lot with making it look fine. I too have thick hair and asking to get it thinned really helps me out.

I'm a girl and my hair is the same way. Don't wash your hair everyday, it will be more dry. Always air dry your hair and when you have conditioner in, try leaving it in after you've gotten out of the shower and then rinsing it after half an hour, this really condions your hair and moisterizes it.
