I have lots of thick hair, any suitable hairstyles?

Like I described above, I have lots of hair and it is also thick. My hair looks like a mop if I let it loose. What hairstyles can I have for it? My hair is medium-long, just below my shoulders.

I'm pretty sick of having my hair layered all the time, is there any good hair up-do? Apart from braided or pony tail..

And I also want to try out the wavy hairstyle, by braiding it whilst wet, will this look bad on me?

i would try the wavy hairstyle; I have thick hair too, and if you french braid, it wait till it's almost dry, take it out, and scruch it with some kind of gel, mousse, or spray, it should turn out well. (I would sugest using the spruch spray by aussie.)

I'm no hairdresser but like you have thick wavy hair that has a natural kink of its own. I'd be careful of the short bob or any layers that are very short as I find it then means the wave just does its own thing and that means theres little you can do with it. I have longer layers just so it leaves a bit of versatility and either straighten it, scrunch it or put it up.

Try a messy bun, clip the front bit back in a quiff then tousle bits down and clip bits up.

Or try curling it or I wear mine half up half down but the top bit messy styleee.

straighten it it doensnt matter if its already straight it makes it look less bushy
