Any tips for thick long hair?

I have heavy and thick long hair that is hard to style. I embrace it though and I won't cut it....

Any tips or styles you reccomend? It currently takes me forever to do anything with my hair and it is so heavy that it can hurt to have it in a ponytail

Any tips for thick long hair?

well you can do it in a bun. i have thick hair myself and i usually wear it down. it hurts to have it in a pony tail

so i came up with this i call it easy-go!:

1.) spin your hair so it gets thinner

2.) take the hair and spin it clock-wise if you are right handed and counter clock-wise if you are left handed

3.) tie it in a head band or a big elastic

3.) bring it down to the sides so it doesn't stick all the way up! lol

4.) gel helps keep the hair in place or tresseme` curl hair spray (it hardens the hair!)

well if you want to keep the length, get it layerd. getting layers takes soo much weight off your hair, but still gives it body.

or you could try getting it razord. all you do is take a section of your hair and pull it away from your head, and get a rrazor (even the kind you shave your legs with) and run it up and down it LIGHTLY a few times.

I have the same issue

my hair is so thick and have wavey and straight

pony tails arent bad but try taking the time in the morning to curl it.

it wouldnt hurt to look extra pretty

or straighten it if it isnt already.

use a waver to wave your hair

its better to have more hair then less

and guys dig the long thick hair

at least my boyfriend does

good luck

Any tips for thick long hair?

I know you said that you don't want to cut it.. but I think that might be the best way. I have thick long hair and I went to have it cut today at the hairdressers. I had layers, and it was thinned out and straightened. It looks a lot better because it's so much easier to style. I would recommend it.

Otherwise, if you are ABSOLUTLEY SURE you're not going to cut it, try going to
