when my hair is dry, it is extremely puffy. it looks like a wave afro, but when i come out the shower, my hair is straight and volume is small. i love the way my hair looks when its wet because it stays close to my head and its a lot straighter than when it is dry. when my hair dries, it starts to get puffy and thick again.
how can i keep the wet look and keep my hair close to my head without dramatically puffy-ing up?
i dont want to use get because my hair is a little long it will get real crunchy.
i appreciate any help! please! help me
How to change the puffy/thick dry hair to the Wet Straight hair look!?
GEL is the answer boy! Get a gel that is very greasy.... it will keep the shine, wet look, and your hair will be frozen in that position for the rest of the day!

How to change the puffy/thick dry hair to the Wet Straight hair look!?
i have the same problem.
I ALWAYS wear a pony tail.
However, sometimes i straighten it or...
when my hair is wet, i twist pieces of hair so they make curls, and then i quickly apply putty gel (regular gel gets flaky). And it stays like that for a while. If you want it to stay longer, then get each hand-curled hair, tie a little rubber band to keep it from unwinding and blow dry it (this is after applyin the putty gel). The only con is that it is time consuming, especially if you have a lot of hair like me.
if not get your hair done in dread locks! My friend did it and she looks great!
also, Fructis makes that putty gel, but its called fiber gum.
have fun experimenting! and if you find another useful method, please tell me!
