Wavy and thick hair?

my hair is VERY THICK and wavy/loose curls. does anyone have some suggestions on styles easier then striaghtening..more natural u kno

Wavy and thick hair?

ya, my hair was REALLY REALLY thick and i washed it every morning when i wake up and make sure i put alot of conditioner to make it strong and it turns nice and smooth and thinner. you can try the fructis long and strong conditioner. it makes it smooth, longer, and stronger.

also try the natures fruit kick with promagrame. a big red bottle. it gives hair moister and shine. ur hair will not be as thick :) straighten ur hair after u finnish washing and drying it. (best if u leave ur hair a bit dry for the straightening.it wont be as damaged too)

good luck.

Wavy and thick hair?

yes...i have extremely thick and curly hair too . . . all i do for a natural look is put in either moose or curling gel while it is damp, scrunch it, and then blow dry it! i try not to straighten my hair too much becuz it fries your hair and people would prefer curly over straight anyways . . .

Wavy and thick hair?

i hav the same hair. i try not to straighten it cause i did 4 years and i didnt want to keep burnin it. when i wet it, brush it then let it air dry, it gets curly but their really ugly so i buy a curling spray (matrix, only avaible at pro stores) but try pantene spray or somethin. after u take a shower, towel dry it for bout 5 minutes, brush it and spray the stuff in ur hair while scrunching it with ur other hand. u can blow dry it a little, but u hav to keep scrunching. let it air dry the rest of the way and if u hav bangs, keep them straight. my hair is a lot healthier now and a lot prettier. good luck!!!

Wavy and thick hair?

I have very thick hair too!! every few weeks i go into my stylist and get my hair thinned and layered. If you want layers, go for either short choppy ones, which work better with longer hair, or more natural ones, which work better with medium length hair. Hope that helped!

Wavy and thick hair?

k this is wut i do when i dont wanna straighten....

STEPS::::

First, brush your hair.

Gather all the hair on your head like you are going to do a ponytail, but do not do it yet. It helps to already have an elastic around your hand while doing this.

Start to wrap the elastic around your gathered hair like you would to a ponytail but only pull your hair halfway through.

Wrap the elastic around the little bun you have already made. Again, there should be some hair in the way.

With your hands, move the little pieces of hair sticking out around so that you get the look you want (basically so they are not straight up).

TIPS:::

If you have extra thin hair, you may want to repeat number 4 before doing number five.

If your hair gets knotty very easily or you have thick hair, you may want to use a scrunchie instead of an elastic.

There is no right or wrong way to do a messy bun. Just make it a mess!

If you feel creative, you can even go for things like colored hair extensions, flowers, a headband, or hair jewelry to get that extra "wow!!!" from people

WARNING:::

If you make a mistake, take it out CAREFULLY or you may wind up with a couple hairs coming out with the elastic.

WHAT U WILL NEED::::

An elastic or scrunchie

A brush

A mirror

Patience!

hope this helps

ooops i forgot to say that it is a messy bun.... lol heres a pic....

Wavy and thick hair?

Yes....I know just what you're going' through I have had a full head of thick curly hair since I was pushed out....You need to use Tresemme Moose...I done forgot what it actually says on the can but its black and has some green on it...I think it's extra hold. It's really good. You may need that or just get the Garnier skinny serum or any kind of frizz control. Good luck hun!
