I WANT TO KNOW HOW CAN I MAKE MY DRY AND DAMN THICK HAIR SHINY AND BEAUTIFUL KINDLY ADVICE FOR A BETTER LOOK FOR MY HAIR I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL FACE AND A NICE PERSIONALITY BUT IT GOES IN VAIN JUST BECAUSE OF MY BAD HAIR PROBLEMS.

hey just because of this reason dont be sad . ask about it to her dressers is better ,why when we have too many good products and too many ways to overome with this problem, why do we r upset?

first 1.wash ur hair just 3 times a week.

2. dont leave shampoo fir along time on ur hair, wash ur hair good%26amp;fast.

3. buy a very good conditionor like TiGi if u found in ur area or sth else good. cover it just on ur footstalk/stem of ur hair.

not the root of ur hair. and leave it for 15 mins.

then wash it with warm water.

4. just alitle dry ur hair, and when ur hair is wet and dry mix. put hairWAx or try Friz ease ... OR after washing it just get a light gel and rub it between your hands then run your fingers thru your hair gently just enough to have pretty curls then let it dry. See what happens.

5. tell the hair dresser to cut more trickly to show u dont have that much hair.

i know it sounds nasty but dont wash your hair every day...because it gives time for the natural oils to replenish

Depends a lot on the habits you've had in regards to your hair (styling with dryers, irons etc.), texture, length etc. Could you be a little more specific please? I personally have medium length, very think, very curly hair that hates summer weather also. LOL

I would recommend going to you hair stylist and having you hair thinned out to help with some of the thickness but you don't want it thinned to much thick hair is wonderful but sometimes it is just TOO thick and cant be managed. as for the dry problems have all you dead ends cut off and start to do daily treatments of some sort of hair moisturizer and strengthener. I have thick hair also, to solve this I have my hairdresser thin it out for me. You can have it layered underneath so you don't actually see the layers, but it is not nearly as thick or they can razor cut it. As far as the dryness, like was already said, don't wash everyday if you can avoid it or try intense conditioners. I really like Aussie's 3 minute miracle. It works wonders for my hair.

it is called parnavue you can find it in the ethnic section at wal-mart. my children are bi racial and their hair is very dry, this stuff works for them you can get a comb through their hair and it puts moisture in their hair. and their hair has never looked better. it doesn't leave a greasy look to their hair, it is silky smooth.

if they don't work i suggest you find a hairdo that fits your hair type, theres bound to be one. maybe since you're so beautiful, your beuaty will mesmerize ppl that they wonT even notice your ugly dry and damn thick hair :). dont b so vain.

Yeah I agree, if u wash your hair everyday that make it dry even more, wash like once a week. After you wash, spray oil sceen in it and rub a little hair mosse it and wrap it, not in a scarf, wrap your hair around and let it dry that way. Then comb it out of the wrap and straighten it. It should be shiny and beautiful when you are done.

dont wash it but twice a week at the most and let the natural oils do their work. unless you are rollin in the dirt every day your hair does not need or like to be washed every day.

I would buy salon products for your hair. There are plenty of moisturizing shampoo and conditioner there. A personal favorite is Kenra. Maybe layers would help take away some of the thickness and make a lay nice.

I to have very dry thick hair. What works for me is Hask pure shine frizz remedy. Apply to wet hair and hair stays shiny and smooth. It also helps with the damage I do it by dying, blow drying, and curling. Since I dye my hair I use TREsemme color thrive with fade block technology for brunette and red color treated hair, it keeps my color from fading and looking "dull" and dry. Hope that helps a bit. Both things you can find at target, wal mart etc. and they are pretty inexpensive. I have tried it all from high buck to the cheapest and these I found really work.
