Anyone know the best way to get rid of the very dark and thick hair on my 8 year olds arms? She is very bothered by it and wants to bleach it, but I am wondering if there is another way??

well she's 8 yrs old. there aren't many choices for kids that young. but f you wax it it wil l grow back lighter, thinner, and shorter over time. also the pain will decrease aftr a few uses. also, nair works well on hair removal, but you can be alergic to it, and or can get a chemical burn. Nair also has a smell that is not.. lets say.. good.

Simply shave it. That's what I do.

why not get Nair hair removal cream. It's what a lot of girls use on their legs, but it works just as well on your arms (my sister rubbed it on my arm once -_- and yes it removed the hair) It'd be much better than bleaching it.
It'll also work better than shaving. because if you shave it will probably grow back even thicker and darker than before, and will be all spiky. Also if she's 8, she might cut herself trying to do it by herself.

Never shave it. It will only grow back much darker and it's embaressing to tell friends that you shave your arms. Maybe you could use the option of waxing.
