Emo/Scene HairStyle for Thick Curly Hair?

I have very bush thick curly hair; i would like to keep the length... my hair falls way past my shoulder. i desparatly need it to be thinned it out. I have a very: Emo; Skater: Scene look and would like a hairstyle that keeps with the image. Has anyone got any pic's?

straighten the top part of your hair and tease it.

people think it's a bad thing to have curly hair and want to have scene hair, but actually all you really have to do is straighten the crown of your head and tease it.

it'll give you lots of body on the top of your hair, and you'll have a messy look because of the curls and t hat's what most scene hair is.
