Question for people with thick curly hair?

Okay, I have a lot of hair. Ive tried a lot of products: cheap ones.. expensive ones. Frizz Ease doesnt do me any good nor does Frizz Off or any other magical serum. No, I dont blow dry it with a diffuser.. it takes too long and doesnt look better in the end in my opinion. My thick blonde curly hair is restless. I am always frizzy. For your hair do you use mousse or gel? What line or brand is it. Do you have any homeopathic rememdies to assist in taming it? Please share. Thanks!

Question for people with thick curly hair?

I use mousse and hairspray. sometimes i use conditioning cream with those things, too. don't use a lot of any product, just enough to coat hair. then i let it air dry.

sometimes i use dove (they have their own conditioning cream that works good with thier mousse and hairspray).

sometimes i use suave. those two brands are my favorites.

sometimes if i don't want my hair too curly, i put my wet hair in velcro rollers and let it dry overnight. it comes out wavy and smoothe. i just put some mousse to set it before i put the rollers in. but i have to do that at like 5pm so it can dry fully by the morning.

Question for people with thick curly hair?

you want to do it the expensive way -reborn it (salon)

cheap way-do some treatment

Question for people with thick curly hair?

Try L.A. Looks, that works great for my hair, dont blow dri it put a small amount in wet hair and let dry naturaly, it keeps the frizzes away. L.A. looks products are good on the budget

Question for people with thick curly hair?

Well I used to have thick curly brown hair, but I hated it! I went to a salon and got it chemically straightened. My hair looks awesome! I love it! I always am getting compliments on it.....

Good Luck!

Question for people with thick curly hair?

i use aussie mousse (it's the "dual personality" one with a leave-in conditioner)...it's okay...i don't dry my hair all the way, and that helps some...(and forget about a diffuser...who has the time?)

Question for people with thick curly hair?

I have very thick, curly hair. I wash mine and apply mouse, I use VO5 curvaceous curls styling mouse, I then apply a light coat of rave spritz hair spray. Works very well for me. I used to blow dry every day, but I have also learned that is does better without the drying. I only blow dry my bangs now.

Question for people with thick curly hair?

my hair is curley %26amp; its so hard to do because its really thick.. what i use is aussie ((mousse/gel)) and then i use the aussie mega hair spray .. so see if that works..

Question for people with thick curly hair?

Good Question! most of the time I use gel but it never really lasts a long time. so i have to go a lot of times with frizzy hair but about a month ago I got this new conditioner its called "Herbal Essences"

body envy conditioner with a fusion of white nectarine %26amp; pink coral flower and it helps alot!!!! maybe you should try it! it keeps my hair being really frizzy.

Question for people with thick curly hair?

I think that you should go to a salon, and get it cut shorter(if its long), and make layers,so that u dont have so much thick hair, try asking proffesional people you can find in a salon or something for good products, and maybe straighten your hair sometimes so that it wont be frizzy and unmanageable=)

Question for people with thick curly hair?

i suggest gettimg a hair straightner. they sell flat irons at walmart for $15.00. also get a leave in conditioner from a salon or the same place you buy your shampoo at. do not blow dry your hair WHAT-SO-EVER. it makes your hair even thicker and frizzier. DO NOT RUB OFF YOUR HAIR WITH A TOWEL WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER ITS THE SAME AS A BLOW DRYER. IT WILL FRIZZ YOUR HAIR UP.

after you finish taking a shower put in some of the leave in conditioner.

then let your hair down and let it dry naturally.(air dry , no blw drying)

than after it dries flat iron it. it will make your hair look naturally beautiful, thick, shiny, and tamed.

dont listen to those girls who tell you to get it treated or permed at a salon . you'll ruin your hair for life!!!

Question for people with thick curly hair?

I have thick curly hair and it looks good when I first do it, but then after a couple hours it looks like crap and frizzy. I now have to let it dry on it's own then I straighten it with a straightening iron. It's the only thing that works. If I use a blow dryer at all it looks horrid.

Question for people with thick curly hair?

A couple of weeks ago I would have had no answer - but a few weeks ago I finally met a hairdresser who solved my problem!!! Unfortunately, it depends on climate - so may or may not be applicable. Anyway, it turns out that almost all products for curly hair are designed in Europe and other similar climates and are sticky - which works in that climate. Frizziness is associated with dryness and as I live in a fairly dry climate, that is why the products don't work. He told me to use a straightening serum (Wella, System Professional, Straightaway) It wasn't sticky and it worked!! Now I can have no frizz when curly - or last week I blow dried my hair straight by myself (1st time) Sorry for sounding like a comercial but I've been trying to solve this problem ten years and had tried EVERY anti-frizz product in existence. SO HAPPY :)
