Do you wear you hair down often???

I have really thick hair and always get really scared to wear it down cause it goes awful!! I always straighten it if im wearing it down though. Dont you get scared to have it down?

not only is it thick it's extra curly too. So no matter what i do there has to be product in it. Mousse and frizz serum whether its up or down, and heavy on the spray when it's down. On the days i just don't feel like doing my hair- my daughters call me 'poodle hair'

what sort of climate are you in? it makes a big difference too.

i personally dont, but my friend has thick hair and she's always it down.

no just have a hair tie on your arm and if you feel it frizzing up just put it up. i have thick hair and i always have it down =]

Aww, I have thick hair too, even though its alot thicker than alot of people im not really worried about having it down, if anything im proud of having thick hair, gives the hair more volume than just thin hair where scalps are easy to see, to make your hair nice, try to use a de-frizzer or anti-frizz shampoo, blow dry while straightening and always use heat defence products while straightening :) x

I have thick hair. It goes curly and frizzy if I don't brush it. I'm not scared to wear it down 'cause it's only thick, and frizzy after I have a shower, the next day it just goes smooth and straight.

god id love thick hair i have extensions in all the time just to make mine look thick my friend has really thick hair and she like you she hates wearing it down but she has just had a few layers in and its looks stunning go for it my girl i defo would xxxx

YES I HAVE THICK HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's also wavy so i wear it down alot. sometimes i get scared to wear it down but you've gotta be unique! that's all i tell myself and then i have alot of confidence so you just do what you want don't let other people tell you what to do!

Hello I have hair that is the same colour as my avatar and almost waist length and it is thick.

I only feel right when it is loose and certainly not scared. I find that I feel uncomfortable if I have to tie it back (for work) and if I put it up I feel that it makles me look much older.

People tell me that they have hair envy when they see my hair so I wonder if you should try wearing yours loose much more often. I agree that it feels better when it is less curly - but you can't always keep it like that with damp weather.

I think you should be proud of your hair and enjoy it.

my hair is thick but it's naurtally straight because i'm chinese. i hate leaving it down because it goes all over the place but here's a hint try to do a little pony tail and leave the rest out so it should stay straight and if u have wavy hair it'll look nice

Oh yes. because even if it is nice and smooth it always goes nuts within a short time. I had medium layers in it. It is so much better.

i have pretty thick hair.

and the ONLY time i wear my hair down is if its straightened.

otherwise, i have it up in a bun of some sort or i'll braid it to kinda hide the curly/frizzy factor.

if i want my hair down and curly, tho, i wont let it go naturally curly. i'll straighten it first, and then straighten it.

i think those loose curls are so much prettier than my tight, small curls.

so i wouldnt say im 'scared' to wear it down, its just a pain in the @$$ to deal with if its down.
